Pat Mavromatis’ career is a rare synthesis of classical humanities, music, and audio high-technology.
His profile blends the foundations of Greek Paideia and classical scholarship—holding a B.A. from UCLA in Ancient Greek Language, History, and Civilization—with the cutting-edge of the global music industry studying music (Guitar & Vocals) at the famous Musicians’s Institute in Hollywood and Advanced Audio Engineering and Music Production at The Recording Workshop in Ohio.
He furthered this interdisciplinary approach at USC, earning a Master’s in Communication Management with a focus on the entertainment industry, involving specialized training at the Annenberg School, Thornton School of Music, and the USC School of Cinematic Arts. His unique academic path allows him to approach audio and music not just as a producer/engineer, but as a communicator and historian who perceives the profound cultural footprint of both music and sound.
This meticulous approach led his Athens-based facility, The Living Room Studios, to become the only studio in Greece accredited for both Dolby Atmos and Auro3D.
Pat also works closely with Google‘s audio team on providing deliverable utilizing the new standard for immersive audio on YouTube: Eclipsa Audio.
In 2025, the “Bible” of the audio world, Mix Magazine, selected the facility as one of the “Top 20 Studios in the World.” However, it is Pat’s creative and technical mastery in “re-imagining” audio for the 3D era that has truly set him apart. His ability to transform standard stereo multitrack recordings into expansive immersive experiences led Mix Magazine to feature his work on the Roberta Flack catalog for Rhino/Warner Music.
These productions, including iconic records like “Killing Me Softly” and “Feel Like Makin’ Love”, were both officially featured by Apple Music globally.
Today, Pat stands as a leading Immersive Mix Engineer and Producer, defining the global standard for both new releases and legendary catalogs in the 21st century.

Η καριέρα του Pat Mavromatis (Πάτροκλος Μαυρομάτης) αποτελεί μια σπάνια σύνθεση των κλασικών ανθρωπιστικών σπουδών, της μουσικής και της τεχνολογίας.
Το προφίλ του συνδυάζει τα θεμέλια της Ελληνικής Παιδείας και της κλασικής φιλολογίας —όντας πτυχιούχος (B.A.) του UCLA στην Αρχαία Ελληνική Γλώσσα, την Ιστορία και τον Πολιτισμό— με την πρωτοπορία της παγκόσμιας μουσικής βιομηχανίας.
